I spent my first two years as MP making sure the Treasury provided the funding for the Camborne-Redruth link road that will regenerate Tuckingmill and create up to 6000 jobs in the years ahead.
I have also successfully lobbied for additional funds to be made available to renovate the overnight rail service, as well as change the rolling stock to provide a better standard of service. Next, I would like to see a regular 30 minute local service running through Cornwall along with better bus routes connecting the CPR area.
It is vital that our area has the transport links that allow easy travel accross the region. Without this, many families would struggle to access some of the regions facilities and I am determined to delivery the most efficient and effective service possible so that a better connectivity between Cornwall and the UK is possible.
