Krowji recently began a re-development project that will see new offices and a doubling of capacity at the arts hub, currently home to a variety of creative businesses on the site of the Old Grammar School. The Centre won European and private funding and was supported by George who pressed the Department of Education to release old school land for the project.

George said ‘I was really pleased to see work underway at Krowji Arts Centre and I know Ross Williams and his team have worked tirelessly to get this plan off the ground. Cornwall has always been a creative county and I pushed the DfE to realise the value of getting this done. I look forward to seeing new individuals and organisations take advantage of this development.’
